Drawing inspiration from the late Speaker Knockerz, Aflacko's laconic delivery drew the attention of SoundCloud pandering listeners while remaining true to the Bay area sound. Beginning in 2017, semi-frequent releases cultivated a loyal fanbase up until the summer of 2021 when virality struck and Aflacko's music was exposed to a global audience, amassing over 150M streams.
